2. Data we collect
Genshin Codex does not collect personal data directly. There are no registration forms, user accounts or private areas.
If the user accepts analytical cookies, Google Analytics 4 automatically and anonymously collects technical browsing data:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Approximate country and city (city level, not address)
- Device type, operating system and browser
- Traffic source (search engine, direct access, etc.)
Google Analytics 4 uses the IP address to determine approximate geographic location and anonymises it before storing. The full IP address is not stored.
3. Purpose of data processing
Data collected through Google Analytics is used exclusively to:
- Understand the volume and origin of site traffic
- Identify which sections are most visited
- Improve content and user experience
Under no circumstances is it used to identify individual users or for our own advertising purposes.
4. Legal basis
The processing of analytical data is based on the explicit consent of the user, given by accepting the cookie banner. The user may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting the cookies from their browser.
5. International transfers
Google LLC, the provider of Google Analytics, is based in the United States. The data transfer is covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Data retention period
Google Analytics retains event data for a maximum of 14 months (GA4 default setting). After that period, the data is automatically deleted.
7. User rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the user has the following rights:
- Access: to know what data is processed about them
- Rectification: to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure: to request the deletion of their data
- Objection: to object to the processing of their data
- Portability: to receive their data in a structured format
- Withdrawal of consent: at any time, without retroactive effect
