What types of events appear on this page?
We display all limited-time content from the game organised into four categories: banners (character, weapon and standard wishes), events (temporary quests, minigames and patch challenges), battle pass and cosmetics such as namecards or limited-time outfits.
Each entry shows the start date, end date and countdown so you know exactly how much time you have left to participate or prepare.
How to plan primogems and resin with events
Character banners last approximately 3 weeks each and run one after another throughout the patch. Knowing the dates in advance lets you calculate how many primogems you can accumulate before the banner you want starts.
Use the primogem calculator to estimate your available wishes by the banner date and the pity calculator to see how many pulls you need based on your current counter. If you also want to manage your resin during farming events, we have a calculator for that too.
How often is this page updated?
Event data is updated automatically from official HoYoverse sources. The "Events updated on" timestamp shown in the header indicates the last time the data was refreshed. If you see an event that has already ended or a recent one is missing, the next patch may not yet be available in public sources.

You can check in real time in the "Active events" section of this page. All active banners, temporary events and passes are shown along with the remaining time before they end.
How to know when a Genshin Impact banner ends?
Each active banner displays its end date and an exact countdown. Character banners usually last between 20 and 21 days. If the remaining time appears in red, it means it ends in less than 72 hours.
Where to see upcoming Genshin Impact events?
In the "Upcoming Genshin Impact events" section on this page you can see all confirmed events and banners that have not started yet, with their start date and estimated duration.
How often is there a new patch in Genshin Impact?
Genshin Impact patches are released roughly every 6 weeks. Each patch includes at least 2 character banners (phase 1 and phase 2) and several temporary events with primogem and material rewards.
Can I miss primogems by not participating in events?
Yes. Temporary events usually award between 420 and 1,600 primogems per patch. Participating in all available events is one of the most important ways to accumulate free wishes.
