What is pity in Genshin Impact?
Pity is the counter of pulls that have passed since your last 5-star on each banner. Genshin Impact guarantees a 5-star before reaching hard pity: 90 pulls on character and standard banners, 80 on the weapon banner.
From a certain point — soft pity, around pull 74 — the base probability of a 5-star (0.6%) rises drastically with each additional pull until it reaches 100% at hard pity. Knowing your exact pity helps you plan how many primogems you need before the next banner.
Is it safe to import my wish history?
Yes. The URL you generate in the game contains a temporary authkey that only allows reading your pull history — it cannot be used to make pulls, spend resources or access your account. Furthermore, the authkey expires in roughly 24 hours, so any URL you no longer use becomes unusable automatically.
Your data is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to our servers. You can delete it at any time with the "Clear data" button.
Why do I need a URL to see my history?
HoYoverse does not offer a public pull API. The only official way to access your history is through the internal URL that the game itself generates when you open the "Wish History" section from PC. This URL includes a unique authkey linked to your session, which is what allows querying your gacha data securely.

Frequently asked questions about wish history
How do I get my wish history URL?
Open Genshin Impact on PC, go to any banner and click the "History" button (bottom left). The game will open the browser with your history. Copy the full URL from the address bar and paste it into the tool above.
How long is the history URL valid?
The authkey contained in the URL expires in roughly 24 hours after it is generated. If you get an error when importing, generate a new URL by opening the history again from the game.
Can I view the history from mobile or console?
The easiest way is from PC. On mobile, some users extract the URL from the app's log files, but it is more complex. On PlayStation and Nintendo Switch there is no official way to obtain the history URL.
What is the guarantee on character banners?
The guarantee means that if your previous 5-star was not the featured banner character (i.e. it was a standard pool character), the next 5-star you pull will be the featured character with 100% probability. This guarantee carries over between banners of the same type.
Why does the history only show recent pulls?
The HoYoverse API limits the history to roughly the last 6 months. Older pulls do not appear in the query even though you made them. The counter only shows the data available within that range.
