How to get wishes in Genshin Impact?
Wishes in Genshin Impact are mainly obtained by converting primogems (160 primogems = 1 wish) or by using Intertwined Fates directly. You can also get wishes through Starglitter accumulated via Paimon's Bargains (1 fate = 75 Starglitter) and by purchasing Genesis Crystals that convert to primogems at a 1:1 ratio.

How many wishes do I need to guarantee a 5-star character?
In the worst case you need 180 wishes to guarantee the banner character (90 if you lose the 50/50, plus 90 with the guarantee active). If you already have an active guarantee, the maximum drops to 90 wishes. On average, most players get it between pulls 60 and 80.

How many primogems do I need for one wish in Genshin Impact?
Each wish costs exactly 160 primogems. Genesis Crystals also convert to primogems at a 1:1 ratio, so you also need 160 crystals per wish.
Can I use character fates on the weapon banner?
No. Intertwined Fates are used on event character banners and the event weapon banner. Acquaint Fates are used exclusively on the standard banner. They are not interchangeable.
What is Starglitter in Genshin Impact?
Starglitter is obtained when pulling duplicate characters or weapons. It can be exchanged in Paimon's Bargains for up to 5 Intertwined Fates per month at a rate of 75 Starglitter per fate.
Can Genesis Crystals be converted to primogems?
Yes. Genesis Crystals (from shop purchases) convert to primogems at a 1:1 ratio, but they can only be used for in-game purchases — they cannot be transferred or exchanged for real money.
